Question Cubes (this one goes well with the Bloom's Taxonomy for Questioning)

As teachers, we more often teach kids to answer, but less often teach them TO QUESTION. Asking questions, not just answering them, is a life skill. Kids need opportunities to question and think critically and creatively.

Question Cubes are a great strategy for:

  • promoting questioning in the classroom
  • generating research questions for individual or small groups
  • narrowing a broad research topic or
  • providing curricular extension/enrichment
